16th June 2022: This year’s edition of the U.S. Open is starting today! Scheduled every year for the third weekend of June, the championship has been conducted by The United States Golf Association (USGA). Did you know that the first U.S. Open was played in 1895 at Newport (R.I.) Golf Club? The upcoming edition will be held in Brookline, Mass. Luckily, you won’t need to travel to the US to enjoy some of the most memorable times in golf history.
In June, Netgem TV launched the USGA TV channel on its award-winning TV box. Viewers will be able to relive some of the greatest moments in golf history with films, highlights and original series focused on the U.S. Open, U.S. Women’s Open and all USGA TV championships, including a vast library of Tiger Woods content.
The USGA or United Stage Golf Association promotes and conserves the true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in its ancient and honourable traditions. It acts in the best interests of the game for the continued enjoyment of those who love and play it.
